Ahsan Abbas is an inspirational and internationally-renowned humanitarian & landscape photographer, educator, speaker and traveller. He is passionate about capturing images which absorb the viewer and take them, for a moment, beyond the here and now to another time and place. His work is a living journal of his travels throughout more than 40 countries across 4 continents and brings together a diverse – yet breathtaking – selection of images, each of which tells a unique, beautiful and exceptionally powerful story. He is frequently called upon to share the stories behind his images, as well as the unique approach he brings to his work, through international speaking platforms and forums. Ahsan’s work has been commissioned, exhibited and auctioned by a wide range of private collectors and high-level organisations, including the United Nations, international aid organisations and the House of Lords. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, shortlisted Landscape Photographer of the Year 2013 and is honoured to have been the only photographer asked to share his work through the Transformational Media Initiative.
