Canon’s truly crazy camera with 4,560,000 ISO just released.

What does that even mean?!

Canon says the ME20F-SH features an EF lens mount and the ability to capture “high-quality” video even in situations in which the human eye can’t see anything. Its minimum subject illumination is 0.0005 lux, or the equivalent of ISO 4,000,000+.

Furthermore the sensor in the camera allows it to shoot Full HD video while subjects are illuminated with less than 0.0005 lux. To put that in perspective, full moon on a clear night is about 0.27 to 1.0 lux, and 0.0001 lux is a moonless, overcast night. The camera can capture high-quality images of things the human eye cannot see.

Family photography comes under portrait photography. It can focus on single or a group of subjects. The importance is given to expression and mood of the subjects which reflects on the photograph. Grouping your subjects requires you to work on their co-ordination. Family photos are shot during various special occasions such as wedding and on a casual outdoor visit. There are several family studios which specialises in family photography. They offer services such as baby or children portraits, family portraits, event photography, location photography etc. There are some typical family studios that create and develop locations for family photographs on a natural or customized setting. Parks and beaches are the common locations they develop and custom locations are improvised too.

Nothing really restricts you from choosing locations out of family studios. There are way too many locations if you step outdoors. Drive around your town to spot countless beautiful locations. Chose a location which would suit the personality of the family; Pictures are ways of creating memories digitally. The photographs should reflect as records of how you lived the time. Before getting too much into a particular location, check if you are allowed to take photographs there. Some places require you to obtain a permit before using it for photo shoot. Check for lighting and other issues which can spoil your photo shoot. There are several approaches existent in case of family photography. Environmental and creative approaches are more common and play its part in selecting location.

The age group of the family members needs to be considered before choosing your location. Like we discussed, the idea is to reflect your life. Amusement parks, carnivals theme parks, zoos would suit children along with parents. Elders in the family are versatile subjects and they would suit large variety of locations. They could be portrayed joyous as well as composed. Families could use countryside locations when they include grandparents. House is where you live for most part of the day.
